Dreams&Happy Holidays! December 6, 2009
Posted by John in My life, Theories and Facts.6 comments
Hey!
Lately I haven’t posted so I thought I should do some research and talk about the holidays.
So, the holidays are coming! The most famous holidays of the year are in December and the beginning of January, and these are the holidays that I am talking about. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc! I celebrate Christmas, so I am mostly going to be talking about Christmas. You don’t have to read my posts about Christmas if you don’t want to, but sometimes I am just too excited not to talk about it! Even if I celebrate Christmas, I am still not going to write ‘Christmas’ anywhere in the Css. I will only refer to it as ‘Happy Holidays’ or ‘Winter Happiness’ or something like that. This year, my graphic designing has gotten loads better, and it’s time to show you that with the last css design on Crazyblondeboy.com, for 2009!
Since I am so enthused for the holidays, I will tell you one thing about this Css. Starting, NOW! I will change EVERYTHING from background design, to the comment box, to the not so important footer on the bottom of the site! You name it, I will change it from it’s current state. The header will be first, just to be warning you.
And now for my Research topic for this week. I have researched the keyword “Dreams” on search engines, youtube, and adults! Here’s some facts on why it happens, how it happens, and what it could mean.
I found this great website called DreamMoods.com, and it explains everything about dreams! I have found out a lot of things that I did not know. (that’s what research is, John)
Facts:
- The average baby before born spends up to 24 hours dreaming!
- As you get older, you dream much less
- The average adult dreams about two hours in eight hours of sleep
- All dreams mean something
- Every food means something
- You should check the website, because I did not read all of it and I am way too tired to make a fact about like every sentence.
Happy Thanksgiving! November 26, 2009

Today is the anniversary of the Pilgrims meeting with the Indians and forming a soon-to-be national holiday! At the table of which they sat, they all went around and shared what they were thankful for. At least, that’s what I think should have happened. But they just ate happily probably without a word. At the table, they had a Turkey. That Turkey was the most important thing that they did that day, because that is now the symbol of Thanksgiving, maybe for people who aren’t sensitive enough to share what they are thankful for. So, some people just eat the turkey, and some people express their feelings THROUGH the turkey.
So now, it’s a tradition to have thanksgiving the last Thursday of November (at least this year it is..) and when it happens, we all meet together and have a family sit-down dinner instead of KFC or McDonald’s or something. It’s Tradition to have Turkey, with Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy. Then, we have Pumkin Pie or if someone doesn’t like it, just have Ice Cream.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I get to stuff my face and not get scolded for it. If I ever would stuff my face, I would get grounded or something. Whatever!!
I am Thankful for many things, and that is one of the things I am thankful for-noticing that I am thankful for things!! Confusing, Yes. Making sense to you, No. Making sense to me, Kind Of.
I am very thankful to live in this time period. This is the time that technology is taken to the next level with computers and stuff. We have it so much easier than the pilgrims and indians. I am also thankful for living this whole time. If I had not made it, I wouldn’t be here to share and celebrate with my family, and my viewers and friends.

I’d better let you finish reading and go eat dinner!
Happy Thanksgiving!
John
It’s Been a While… November 25, 2009

Hey! It’s been a while since I have posted, hasn’t it. That’s going to change. Sometimes I have writer’s block, and I don’t know what to post about, or make a graphic about. For now, when I have writer’s block I am going to put a funny picture post on, so that you guys will keep coming, I will have something to do, and this website doesn’t go to waste.
Picture Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol!!
There will be some updates to the website… including one or two turkey day surprises. Even though I said that there would not be any changes due to turkey day, be on the lookout.
Learning how to Read November 9, 2009

“To read, you don’t need awesome powers or wicked skills, but you do need to be willing to learn. “-John
Every book includes something that you didn’t know before, and something interesting to everybody. But to read, you don’t need to read a book. You can read the computer, for instance reading an eBook or reading off of your iPod.
The way I learned how to read, was by PS2 Cheats. Thats right, I said it. “PS2 Cheats!!” When I was about five, I had terrible reading problems. My teacher thought I was dyslexic, if you believe it. But then, my older cousin got obsessed with cheating with his PS2, and my family had one coincidentally. So, I got my cousin to show me how to type in “ps2 cheats” and I started from scratch there. Then, I started recognizing words that I had used in kindergarten, and soon I started reading a lot better than I would have. Then I was signed up for tutoring, and I started reading at a sixth grade level in first grade. My reading skills haven’t really improved since then because I haven’t had to improve them, but I would if I wanted to. Over the years, I read at an eighth grade level. By the time I’m in eighth grade, I will be reading adult books, maybe even books that people in college read.
Reading is very important in life, and everyone should have the right to learn how to use this skill as soon as they can. Being able to sound out words, and understand the text, and learn from it, is something that is really important. Being able to read the word is one thing, but understanding the word is taking it to another level. Learning from it was always there, but you never used it.
Enough about my thoughts for today. Now, a graphic with a quote by me.

Just a Short Update November 3, 2009

If you want a sneak peak of what the website theme is going to be, you can have one. I will put up the header before I leave!

Halloween-OVER November 1, 2009
Posted by John in My life.add a comment
Since Halloween is over, I have to redesign the website, and that might take a while because I never had time to plan out what it would look like.. So over today you will see some changes, and maybe updates.
If you haven’t noticed, I put a new page map onto the first page of the website, where you come to get here. Now instead of having home, it kind of has a header at the top that says crazyblondeboy.com and when you click it, it goes right to itself. It just made sense to put that on. Maybe I will put the page map onto all the rest of the pages, so that when you are done reading it you don’t have to scroll all the way back up and get exhausted.
If you have any ideas for me during the day, just comment because I will think about it and maybe make some changes to it. The new site colors are going to be Red, White, Blue, and Black. Not trying to be patriotic or anything, but the colors just flow with each other.
Last night I went to a halloween party, and it was awesome. we watched two scary movies, and the second one involved Dr. Phil. They were the funniest scary movies I have ever seen. But, they were pretty scary too. One had this video tape, and whoever watched it only had seven more days to live, and a zombie thing would come and kill them.
Thats all I have to say, so bye, bye!!

Halloween October 29, 2009

This year I’m just going to go as something hilarious, because there’s free candy involved and I’m gonna stop going in Eighth Grade. I only go because of the free candy, not the fun of dressing up!
I am going to go as an emo baby skater, and here is how it’s gonna look.
- Footy Pajamas!!
- Skater Shoes
- Skateboard
- Black stuff on my face to make me look emo
This is gonna be hilarious! Maybe I will do some street performing while I’m trick or treating. lol.
I think this year is going to be a halloween that there isn’t as many costumes as there were last year. I think it’s kind of funny that some people are going to be scary while I’m going as an emo baby skater. lol!
This was just kind of a short post, because I have a busy day today.
See Ya!

“Infinite Possibilities are My Capabilities” My First Quote October 28, 2009
Posted by John in Meaninless Thoughts, My life, New, Something Funny.1 comment so far
Welcome to my most recent post.
You are probably wondering, “Why would John make that his title when infinite possibilities are not his capabilities?” I am here to answer your mean question!
Anyways, I wrote my first quote that actually makes sense. If I am ever feeling sad, or I am not doing my best job, then I will say this quote to myself. “Infinite possibilities are my capabilities.”
INFINITE POSSIBILITIES- This basically means, that anything that someone else can do, I can do. All I have to do is put my mind to it, and want to do it more than anything in the world.
MY CAPABILITIES- This doesn’t mean that I am a cap (what in heck is a cap?) but it does mean that I can do it. I can do it, I can do it. PIL-SUNG (the Korean version of ‘I can do it.’)
If you put the two phrases together, and add the word ARE in the middle of them, it will say “Infinite Possibilities are My Capabilities. If you put the two definitions together, it will make no sense, so this is a once in a post-time opportunity!
I made a logo for this occasion. Thank god we have transparent images, because they are so fun to work with, and this one is partially transparent.

Except for the text, everything white is transparency in that image.
I am really happy that I wrote my own quote now, because I love heart-touching quotes (even though this isn’t one, I still like them..)
I will end this post on that note..
Over and Out

The Secrets of Graphic Design October 24, 2009
Posted by John in Methods, My life.add a comment
Have you ever wondered why you haven’t been getting any hits on your graphic that you think is DA BOMB? Well, if that happens to you, this is the post you should be reading.
The first thing that comes to mind when making a graphic, is “I want to make this the best thing I have ever made.” You should do whatever you want, do whatever you feel looks cool.
After you have made your graphic, you need to make sure that you can present it to your viewers, readers, or fans. If you come up with something messy, and un-presentable, than you need to fix it up a little. I will walk you through some of the things you should do to change your graphic and make it successful, presentable, and un-predictable. Here is an example of something you should not have:

Cool looking, but un-presentable, and un-successful.
First of all, we should be changing the font to match the subject. It says “Happy Halloween” as an example of something scary. So, we need a scary font, and we shall put an outline on it to make it readable. Here is an example of readable, and a somewhat matching font.

Nice outline, and nice matching text. Now, we need to fix the background, to match the theme. Our theme, is Halloween, so our colors would be Orange, and Purple or Black. So we will change the gradient to Orange and Purple, so the the next step will make sense.

Orange and Purple gradient. It makes sense because of the theme of Halloween. Orange and Black would also make sense, but it matters what the theme is. If you are doing a Winter theme, it would make sense to have snow flakes or something instead of an orange and purple gradient. So anyways, you need to have something that makes sense to the theme you have, or the opposite if you are doing something like that. But in my world, you need to have something that matches the theme such as Halloween.
Now, we need to do something about those symbols. We need to get rid of anything that is repeated in this kind of graphic, and we also need to get rid of things that are just taking up space. I am just going to get rid of all the symbols and start over. Remember, get rid of space-takers, and repeated symbols.

What I did, was I used the same symbols, different colors, same colors, and more effects. If you do not think this is a huge improvement, I don’t know what to tell you. You need to make sure that your ideas make sense, like something I forgot to do was make the pumpkin orange. Maybe I should do that right now, and make it look good. So, here is what the final version should look like after you make a few more revisions, and make sure that it makes sense.

A few revisions and BOOM!!!!! Its all better. Try looking back at the first version, and you will see what you need to do with a graphic when you are revising it.
Thats all for now!

Testing October 21, 2009
Posted by John in Meaningless Thoughts Methods and Theories, My life.add a comment
Testing, it has a lot of different meanings, and reasons.
- Every student’s nightmare.
For this kind of testing, you have to study, and make sure you do good because it’s your grade for the quarter or something. - Swami Method
A swami may use this, like testing your skills with meditation, or patience. - Friendship
If you want to get into this group of people, this is the testing that I am talking about. Like a gang testing your personality, if you are one of them.
These are just the ways that I think of when I think of testing.
In fact, tomorrow, I am being tested to see where I am with my math skills. (Who knows where I am)
I do not like testing, personally. If you ever say that we are having a test or something, I will probably not be as stoked about it as Albert Einstein in his grave, but I will study, and do my best for it. Some people, will leave it for the last minute, and say that they did not have time or didn’t want to take the test and study.
I would love to make a graphic for this topic, but I don’t have time right now. Maybe if I have time I will edit this post and put a graphic there so that you can understand the meaning of testing more if you cannot read. If you can’t read you need to get some help, because I personally think that anyone over the age of 7 should be able to read.
Hey, could you imagine not reading? How would we talk to deaf people, or write things down, or even have things to look back on when you are eighteen looking back at something that you wrote about 10 years before. That would be unbelievable to even think about not being able to read. We probably would not even have computers, or writing, or possibly anything! How would we keep track of things?
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR ME!!!!
Well anyways, I think I should end this post before it goes on and on about my questions and theories of life.
Thanks for visiting and inspiring me to post,
John

School Sickness October 16, 2009
Posted by John in My life.2 comments
I noticed something over the summer. It is that I only really get sick when I am around other people. This summer, I wasn’t really going anywhere, or doing anything.
Today, I am really sick. I had to go to the doctor, and that is not a pretty situation. Here is how it went down.
First, we had to go through the back door instead of going through the Lobby, because I had a fever. Then, I was tested for Swine Flu. I still don’t have the results, but my mom says I probably have Swine Flu. The way they tested me, was they stuck a swab up my nose, and I didn’t even gag this time. But I did cry once or twice because I thought I was going to die. But before we went it, we had to wear mask thingy ma bobbers. It didn’t go so well because my nose was leaking the whole time, and the inside of the mask was all gross. The doctor could not test my brother, because it was “Too Late” to have the shot, and there was “No Reason” he needed to be tested. So my brother got off easy, and I probably got this all from him because he was sick all week!
School is going pretty good. This is the first day I have been sick, and it’s been the whole summer and 7 weeks of school and this is only the FIRST TIME I have been sick! It’s like the biggest record for this, lol! I am working on an Animation, and it is hilarious!! It’s about a person, who is dribbling up to a basketball hoop, but he trips, rolls over and slams it into the hoop and hangs on the rim over night, and someone comes and puts a blanket on him, and he drops down the next day. I can’t wait.
I also re-learned Long-Division, because I forgot how to do it over the summer 2 years ago. And I can’t believe how easy it is! Now I have to learn the Traditional method for Multiplication, and I can kick it back old school, lol!!
Thats all I really have to say for now, because of no reason.

It’s Gimp Time!! #4 September 27, 2009
Posted by John in My life.2 comments
Last night I was busy making a widget for the new title. So, here is what I came up with.

And that is a full transparency where the white is, so it will look different on every website. If you want the code to put it in your sidebar, I would be more than happy to give it to you!!
<a href=”http://crazyblondeboy.com” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://i33.tinypic.com/168zh2v.png” border=”0″ alt=”Image and video hosting by TinyPic”></a>
Well, that is pretty much it for that..
I am feeling a little sick since Friday, but I have gotten better. Right now I am sippin’ Root Beer because I am bored, and it doesn’t help that I had a milkshake last night, because that kind of plugs your sinus’s up.
Tomorrow I try-out for the basketball team, hopefully I will make it, but if not my parent’s are making me do the Parks and Recreation league. If I don’t make that team, I just don’t want to play. I know it’s supposed to be for fun, but Park and Rec is not going to get me to high school basketball if I want to play then too.
My parents got a new camera on Wednesday, it’s kind of cool, because it takes video and pictures. Yesterday my brother was playing football, and I got a video of the other team’s touchdown, lol. For some reason I just knew they would get a touchdown so I taped it..
Thats all for last week!
Over and out!
John
Also, the contest is still on, and it ends on wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
